How to Become a Certified CASI ATV RiderCourseSM Chief Instructor  

To become a certified CASI ATV RiderCourseSM Chief Instructor, one must first be active as a certified - CASI ATV RiderCourseSM Instructor for two years and have instructed at least six CASI ATV RiderCourseSM. The Chief Instructor Preparation Workshop is an eight day training program delivered by the Master trainer at the ATV Safety Institute (ASI) based in the USA. Chief Instructor candidates must again successfully complete the four day Instructor Preparation Workshop, before proceeding with delivering the four day Instructor Preparation Workshop to Instructor candidates. Chief Instructor candidates must attend every session to be eligible for successful completion. A Chief Instructor trains Instructors, provides technical assistance for CASI and promotes ATV/Quad safety. To ensure that ATV/Quad safety programs are presented in a safe, consistent, efficient and professional manner, professional standards and responsibilities for a Chief Instructor were developed. This being said, a Chief Instructor must be a proficient ATV/Quad operator.
